For my first novel, I worked with a hybrid publishing company called New Degree Press. In about 10 months, I went from having an idea to creating my first draft to launching my presale campaign to officially publishing a book (with MANY late nights in between - I’m not a morning person). If you’d like to ask more questions about the publishing process, shoot me a note!

My passion for writing did not introduce itself by screaming in my face and hitting me over the head with a notebook. It grew over time, starting in a child whose favorite part of the day was reading hour.
Some of my earliest memories are of me at my kitchen table, drafting stories on giant lined paper school children learn to write on. Throughout my schooling, numbers ad and science and data were alright, but crafting language to bend at my will was what sparked that fire only people who have truly loved have felt.
With every peak and valley life has brought me, writing has been my constant. From there, I figured out that the only world I am content living in is the one I create on the paper in front of me. Even then, I’ll still have to deal with a dragon or two before I get home.

I wish I could say I know exactly what my loves are outside of writing, but that’s a process with no end in sight.
What I do know is that I enjoy bringing books to the beach, playing some version of fetch with my two labradors, trying every type of food at least once, looking out the windows on airplanes, listening to music at every conceivable second of the day, planning vacations to keep my wanderlust at a minimum, talking about Harry Potter with literally anyone, and making up stories about the strangers next to me in the park.
